Why am I not writing?

  1. Dinner in the crock pot was something that smelled like dysentery once I got home.
  2. I picked up pizza at Little Caesar’s.
  3. Sat down and ate food.
  4. Returned a few emails, scheduled three guest posts.
  5. Signed in to chatzy to have companionship while writing.
  6. The dog needed to go out.
  7. The dog sniffed around the yard.
  8. The dog never peed.
  9. I prompted the dog to pee.
  10. She finally dribbled three drips.
  11. I walk the dog back to the door.
  12. She refuses to go back in like she does when she still has business to do.
  13. Walk the dog back out again.
  14. Dog sniffs at the yard. Does not pee.
  15. Walk dog around. Dog does not pee.
  16. Make dog come back inside.
  17. Roomie says there’s a bug in the kitchen. It’s a fly
  18. Grab fly swatter.
  19. He puts coffee in cupboard beside fly that flies off.
  20. Spent fifteen minutes chasing fly around kitchen swatting at it before I finally hit it.
  21. It lands in the toaster.
  22. Roomie blocks the toaster to stare in and tell me the fly is still in there.
  23. Finally get him out of the way and clean out toaster.
  24. Grab a snack since the pizza didn’t fill me up.
  25. Sit down.
  26. Am informed there is a schedule conflict with cars for tomorrow.
  27. Spend half an hour hammering out who is going where when so we can get everyone to work on time.
  28. Decide to write a blog post instead of writing.
  29. It is now 9:30. Maybe I can get some writing done.
  30. Dog jumps up at my side signaling she has to go back out again.

This is why I’m not writing.
